GENERATIONAL DIVIDE


Much of the success of the church depends on the ability of different generations to work together. Congregations have been split over generational clashes, of both belief and behavior. Ministries have struggled to answer the question, “How do we move forward while not forsaking the past?” Perhaps the better question to ask is, “Are we that different after all?” Barna Group recently surveyed three generations on their personal faith, and their results were not as varied as their ages:
